What is PCTFE?
Polychlorotrifluoroethylene (PCTFE) is a high-performance fluoroplastic material made from the polymerization of a trichloroethylene monomer. Compared to other fluoroplastics such as PTFE, PCTFE has superior mechanical strength, lower gas permeability, and excellent dimensional stability.
While maintaining the excellent chemical stability of fluoroplastics, it provides better rigidity and abrasion resistance, which is particularly suitable for demanding applications that require precision sealing and long-term reliability. Its unique molecular structure gives the material excellent barrier properties, making it an ideal choice for high-end industrial applications.
